A Full-Circle Moment: Alessia Braggiato

Picture
This November, a truly special moment unfolded for the Intempo Dance family. Members of Intempo Dance Ensemble (IDE) traveled to Kansas City to watch our beloved alumna, Alessia Braggiato, take the stage with the Kansas City Ballet in their breathtaking production of Swan Lake. For those who know Alessia, her story is one of passion, perseverance, and purpose — qualities that have defined her since her earliest days at Intempo. From her first plié in our studios to performing on one of the nation’s most prestigious stages, Alessia’s journey is a shining example of what dedication and heart can achieve.
Now in her second season with Kansas City Ballet, Alessia continues to grow as both an artist and professional, bringing emotional depth and exquisite technique to each role she performs. But this performance of Swan Lake held a special kind of magic. Not only was she dancing in one of ballet’s most beloved classics, but she did so surrounded — once again — by her Intempo family.
Our dancers from Intempo Dance Ensemble made the trip to Kansas City to cheer her on in person, filling the theater with love, excitement, and pride. Watching one of our own illuminate the stage in such a timeless masterpiece was more than just inspiring — it was a reminder of why we do what we do.
At Intempo, we believe in nurturing dancers not only as performers, but as people — guiding them to find their voice, their artistry, and their confidence to take flight beyond our studio walls. Seeing Alessia’s success, and watching our younger dancers witness it firsthand, was a powerful testament to the legacy of community, mentorship, and artistry that defines our school.
Moments like these are what make the Intempo journey so meaningful — when past and present meet on the same stage of inspiration. Alessia’s success is a reflection of every teacher, class, rehearsal, and dream that came before it — and a promise of the bright futures that await our dancers yet to come.
Congratulations, Alessia. Your wings have taken flight — and your Intempo family will always be cheering you on from every seat in the house.
