Contemporary
Lyrical

Contemporary dance is a mixture between classical ballet and modern dance. This style allows dancers to use the classical ballet technique skills in a more free approach. Contemporary dance uses a broad array of music to create feeling and abstract movement.
Lyrical is very similar to Contemporary dance, but is used to portray the story behind the lyrics of a song.

Our teachers have derived these classes from several different styles, including but not limited to the Limon, Horton, Graham as well as the Progressing Ballet Techniques, Royal Academy of Dance, and American Ballet Theatre Curriculum. These styles allow dancers to further dive into their own creative movement while structuring it in choreographic manner.
